Wing Chair Slipcovers A Match For Muddy Cats

We've had more than our fair share of miserable weather so far this month, a lot of wind and rain and a distinct lack of sunlight.  I'd like to get out in the garden and do a general tidy up, but it really has been too wet and muddy underfoot.  It makes me feel like hibernating.  To cheer myself up I went to visit my friend Alison, who has a very cosy house and a roaring log fire.  She also has two cats who love to curl up in her wing chairs either side of the hearth, in the warmest spot in the room.

Olly and Daisy (the cats) also love hunting mice and playing in the backyard, even in this appalling weather.  Whilst I was there they came inside, probably sensing that the fire was lit, and made a beeline for their chairs.  They were soaking wet and their fur looked a real state, dripping and bedraggled.  Their little paws were covered in wet mud too.  Once comfortably in position in their fireside seats, both cats proceeded to clean themselves, leave bits of mud and smelly cat hair all over the furniture.

Luckily Alison had discovered wing chair slipcovers and had fitted two pet friendly ones from Sure Fit on her chairs.  The Savannah wing chair covers are a lovely burgundy floral pattern and are made from 100% cotton, which is durable and can stand up to lots of machine washing.  I could see those soggy cats had met their match in those slipcovers.  No matter how much hair they shed or muddy paw prints they made, the original upholstery beneath the covers stayed clean and dry.  Their traditional design coordinates perfectly with the style of décor in Alison's home, and as soon as the sun returns she can throw them in the washing machine and hang them out to dry.
